Dear Diary,

Oh yess! Finally! A free time to spare and blog about the recent happenings in my life. It has been a while, I know, and I'm sorry for neglecting all my readers. :(

First off, I started working last Nov 8th. And today is Thanksgiving day, that's why I don't have work. Yaaayy! LOL I've been waiting for this day for too long (aside from my 1st payday which will be next tues! HAHA) My first week was pretty good because all I did was study the corporate induction lessons, familiarize myself about the company and answer all assessment exams. It was a bit frightening whenever I'm answering an exam because there is an 80% passing rate. And if you do not pass, you must re-take the test. I do not want to do that and waste my time on an exam. I want to learn as quickly as possible!! :> Second, I met a lot of new people from the first week of training. Some are fresh graduates like me, some are old employees just moving from another department and some are external hires which are hired as a manager or team leader. They kept me awake during the sleepy hours of our training. :P And by the way, I passed all my assessment exams on first take. Yaayy for meee! Focusing on work paid off a little. HAHA

On the second week of training which is this week, I met all of my team mates, the people I'll be working for a long time every single day. I love my VP's and managers because they're just really awesome. They aren't the type of bosses who would intimidate or terrify you on your first day. They are pretty funny and fun to be with! They also gave me my locker which is very helpful on my part since I do not want to travel to work wearing my heels. My gold pumps and black peep toe heels are in my locker right now. I wear doll shoes or ballet flats when travelling to work. My locker saves my feet from having blisters. Lol I was also seated at a tempopary desk (since I am a new hire, they are still arranging my desk and waiting for my dual monitor computer to come) with 2 guys who are extremely kind and gorgeous (Us three are in the same cubicle). Yes, they are good looking guys and almost at the same age as mine. And no, I am not crushing on them, okay? I am still very loyal with ze boyfriend which by the way is also working already. That will be another part of my story for today. =)) As I was saying, they are funny and smart too. Let's have a code name for them just for the sake of my story. Let's name the 24 yr old guy Will and the 22yr old is Plane. These are random names and not their real names okay? HAHA Will is the first old hire I became friends with. He's an accountant and I must say, really really good looking. He's an epitome of the tall, dark-ish (but not really) and handsome guy. I instantly got along with him because he kept on bullying me but in a nice way. That's why I call him "Bully". HAHA It was his birthday on the 20th but he went on vacation leave that day. On the other hand, Plane is the partner in crime of Will. He is a bit short, we're almost of the same height, wearing nerdy frame glasses but outrageously smart and cute. If you just know his real name and google his name, for sure you'll see all his academic awards and stuff. He's pretty popular in his Uni. :> But there is one thing about Plane, I think he's more on the feminine side? Hahaha. Well that's what my other co-new hires say. :P I also befriended an alumnus of my Uni but from an older batch. Her name is Marie (just a codename). She's really pretty and witty! What I like about her is she's so approachable and friendly. If I could pair someone with her, it would be Will. I think they'll look good together. :"> But having boyfriend/girlfriend on the team is prohibited. Unless they want one of them to be transferred to another team or department. :P Will, Plane and Marie are old hires of the company. All the new hires like me are still under training and all I do in office for now is read online courses and familiarize self with the processes which I barely understand. I really hope I pass this stage and master all the processes of the team. :)

As for ze boyfriend, he's working in an Auditing firm a bit far from my office. That's why I have a dilemma of adjusting because we can only get to see each other every weekend. We are still both adjusting to our new environment. There was a time this week, while I was on my way to work, I just became very lonely that I cried on the bus when ze boyfriend told me how much he loves me. That's how much I miss him. :( But we need to have sacrifices in order for us to have a good future. Right now, I must trust him always and just hope for the best. :D

Well... That's a terribly long boring post. Lol

I'll be going to a spa today to de-stress and watch How I Met Your Mother and Once Upon a Time series. I will try as much as possible to keep you guys updated. Off I go now! Keep safe, lovelies<3

Eeeky feeling... In a good way.

Dear Diary,

Oh geez. I kept on typing "Dear Dairy" first every single time I make a blog post. What's with dairy? -___- LOL Anywayy, today has been a good day. My original plan with ze boyfriend didn't work out so I just made myself a new plan. Which I successfully did the whole day. Yaayy to that

First, I met up with a friend to give her the perfumes she wanted long ago. We did a little catching up, just for a few minutes since she has to go and have lunch with her boyfriend. Then I went to Uni to meet up with some of my old blockmates and have lunch with them. It was another first to me! I don't really go on lunch dates with my classmates since my college life lunch dates have always been with ze boyfriend and my other college friends. Lunch time was the only time I could be with ze boyfriend in the past college years. :> We had Hainanese chicken for lunch. Another first to try that food! Lol. We talked about our other classmates whether they are working already or studying again, reminiscing the memories together and just laughing at each other's jokes. It was a breath of fresh air seeing them. :)

After eating lunch, we headed to the main building of our Uni to get my Certificate of Graduation. I needed it as part of the requirements of my employer. It feels good to know that I am finished obtaining all the documents I need. Speaking of work, just a couple of hours ago, I checked my email after 4days of not checking it... I received an email from my employer telling me about the details of my first day of work. And to tell you the truth, I felt a pinch in my heart as I was reading the email. I feel so happy and blessed that my prayers are granted by God. :')

I also noticed that I have grown a new habit lately. Everytime I go on Facebook, I always check the God's wants you to know application. For me, every message is related to my current state in life. It's unbelievable, actually. Here is mine today:

"On this day of your life, (insert my name), we believe God wants you to know ... that it's okay to receive. Have you been the giver for so long that you have forgotten how to receive? Allow others to give you some of the love that you give so freely. Seek a balance between your giving and your receiving."

So there you go. :"> I must learn to balance between my giving and my receiving. Oh wait, by the way. A classmate whom I was with earlier today had went to Singapore last week. And today, she gave me tons of brochures because she knows that ze boyfriend and I will be going to Singapore a few months from now. I was literally screaming my heart out when I received them. Trust me, the maps and brochures she gave me were a LOT! Will be definitely useful to a travel junkie like me. ;)

That's the eeky feeling I've been feeling today. It's certainly a good eeky feeling. :D I'll be shopping for corporate clothing tomorrow with ze boyfriend. I hope I'll get good finds and bargains. Good night, twinkle pops

Socializing101

Dear Diary,

I told myself this post will just be a quick one. My mind right now is running out of words due to sleep deprivation. I was out almost everyday of this week. Busy meeting and catching up with old blockmates, friends and ze boyfriend's relatives. Oh how tiring and fun this past week had been. :>

Every year, we spend the night of October 31st until morning of November 1st at my dad's tomb. I'm not sure if I told you about my dad already but yes, he died when I was in 6th grade. :( My mom and sister do this tradition with my other relatives. It is always fun to hang out with my nephews, nieces and cousins because this event has been like a halloween party to all of us. LOL =)) Before when I was younger, we even had our costumes. I was always the devil or the witch. It's the easiest costume everrr. :P But this year, because I always sleep late, my body shut down on me. I just literally slept all night long. My sister keeps on telling me how useless I am that night. HAHA I just can't help my eyes anymore. -____-

Then on the night of November 1st, we go to my mom's parents' tomb. The usual happens, playing with my nephews and nieces, eating with my Aunts and Uncles and catching up with my cousins who recently had kids. I realized time really flies so fast. I feel so old now! LOL I have grandchildren alreadyyy. Can you imagine that? Well my sister and I are the youngest in my dad's side while in my mom's side, well... let's just say they wanted to have a family at such young ages.

While in the past 2 days, I slept at ze boyfriend's house. (This was a first! My mom usually allows me to sleep over at his place but not for consecutive days!) He tagged me along in a family reunion in his mother's side family. That night was really fun! Got the chance to bond with all of his relatives and the wedding quips kept on coming from them. They said since we are already both done with Uni and we both got a job, why not get married already? I just laughed at them. But ze boyfriend tolerates them every single time. He'd say, "Don't worry next year you'll receive a wedding invitation from us." -____-  Oh dear, marriage is still at the lowest part of my priority list. =)) Then yesterday, ze boyfriend also hosted a house party with all of his village friends and some of our friends in Uni. They played basketball first then the party started. It was not really a party. Just a small, close-gathering-of-old-friends-catching-up-before-work-starts kind of party. Another fun yet tiring day!

So you see, I am extremely partied out and my body just wants to be with my bed. But before that, I will play Sims3 World Adventures first. I loooove this game! <3
